Increasing Endurance with Cordyceps and Rhodiola

A study[1] found that supplementing athletes with Cordyceps and Rhodiola Crenulata increased performance significantly. They were administered RC (R: 1400 mg+C: 600 mg per day) and saw a greater increase in time-to-exhaustion as well as a decrease in the amount of EPO secretion gained throughout their two-week training. The increase of endurance was in addition to an already significant increase from their training.(Placebo: +2.2% vs. RC: +5.7%)


Another study showed that cordyceps was able to increase time to exhaustion, relative peak power, ventilatory threshold, maximum oxygen consumption, and decrease percent power drop.[2]
